The softened exctracts of Saviotan Leather have a modified, higher ph compared to the astringent extracts, so as to allow the tannin a better penetration into the already tanned leather. In this way the tannin’s characteristics are transferred to the finished product. The softened exctracts are hydrolysable, as the astringent ones, therefore they gurantee to the leather a cleaner manifacturing and a more delicate tanning.
